Welcome

Hello, and welcome to my portfolio. As you can see from the title, my name is Nishanth Prajith and this is a portfolio culminating all of the writing and creative works I did for is ENG 11000 (Freshman Composition). We focused on muti-literacy which is “the ability to identify, interpret, create, and communicate meaning across a variety of visual, oral, corporal, musical and alphabetical forms of communication”. From works like “On Seeing England for the First Time” to “Superman and Me” I was able to gather general knowledge of how literacy has been subjugated by specific groups for their moral gain. My goals for this class were very simple, I wanted to pass with a good grade and improve my writing skills in the process since I not very good at writing. The work provided in class was rather luminous and insightful, as it not only expanded my views of the world but helped me gain a rather deeper understanding of literacy in general. In addition, it helped me a become a better writer, by being able to communicate my mind to the reader. After, taking this class, I hope to be more intuitive in my style of writing communicate my thoughts through all possible form of communications because there is no one correct way to do so.
